2014 Audi A1 e-tron
Audi at the Geneva Motor Show unveiled an electric version of the A1 model. The new model is named A1 e-tron, for now this is just a concept and by 2014 it should appear on the market.
The car has a powerful electric motor, which reduces emissions of harmful exhaust gases, additional internal combustion engine, significantly reducing emissions of harmful gases. The engines develop a total power of 75 kW which is a total of 102 horsepower.
This model is a true compact electric car premium class. City car with four seats and two doors MCV is specially designed for everyday use in highly urban areas, for example, in Europe, North America and the mega cities of Asia and South America that are growing at breakneck speed. Audi A1 e-tron is only runs on electric power. Its internal combustion engine is used only occasionally to supplement the battery.
The battery weighs about 470 pounds. The capacity for a total of 42.4 kWh, which ensures the autonomy of 250 km. The relatively small mass of 1600 kg is achieved using the new structure of the alloy, and the greater part of the element is made of ultra light composite materials.
